Dutch Whisky Connection has been in existence as a club of hobbyists for around 20 years now. A number of people came together to collect and exchange bottles and drams. Above all Ardbeg, Longmorn, Springbank, and Laphroaig, but ultimately those bottles that brought a great taste.
A lot of tasting and sharing of knowledge, both at home and abroad. This way we built up a network of knowledge and taste. We learned that drinking whiskies was and is influenced by many factors. Emotion is the main factor. But also what you have eaten and drunk, the time of day, your condition, etc. It became more than a hobby that had got out of hand; it became a passion!

For special events and special groups we are always pleased to organise a pleasant evening with a marvellous selection of whiskies, and an inspiring, impassioned story. Anyone can pour a series of glasses and say “that’s nice” about each one, but the right mix of background knowledge, anecdotes and passion is what inspires people. And that is precisely what Dutchwhiskyconnection offers you.
At whisky clubs, off-licences, but also with companies and in support of corporate events; everything is possible.
Looking for good advice?
If you want to buy the right bottle for your collection, for investment, or just to drink, it’s possible you may be looking for help. A specific bottle, a particular type of bottle, a certain taste, etc.
We will listen to your wishes and advise and assist you, once more based on extensive international experience and an accompanying network.
Should you wish to invest in whisky, then good advice is desirable. Many interests play a role with sellers, and they are not always your interests.
Agent
Collections are frequently offered for sale or sought for purchase. The knowledge that this calls for is not always equally shared between the buyer and seller, in particular with regard to values. I mediate between both parties in order to achieve a balance in terms of knowledge. This way both parties get a fair deal. Both sides can ask me to fulfil this role, to create a greater feeling of confidence. Some 25 years of experience with prices, price developments and auction results have given us the knowledge that is needed to provide this service.
